MIR CP-SS-NCr Chemical Passivating Reagent for Stainless Steel is an acidic formula mainly based on nitric acid, and it is supplemented by a compound of acidic corrosion inhibitors, brighteners, and high-efficiency penetrants. It can be applied to comprehensive cleaning and passivation on stainless steel and can effectively improve stainless steel parts' salt spray resistance.

The reagent is colorless and transparent, and the passivation film is denser, and the formation is faster; the original color and size of the stainless steel will not be damaged after the treatment, and the original effect of wiredrawing, sandblasting, shot blasting will not be affected, especially for mirror-bright stainless steel; it is suitable for passivation treatment on austenitic stainless steel: 301, 302, 303, 304 (L), 316 (L) and other materials, we can tailor-make reagents for special passivation requirements of various types of stainless steel materials, which will create better results.
